Thecuy.com – The Central Executive Board of Muhammadiyah for Central Java (PWM) is the provincial leadership structure of the Muhammadiyah organization, located at Jalan Singosari Raya No. 33, Pleburan, South Semarang, Semarang City. As part of the Muhammadiyah society, PWM Central Java operates the organization for the 2022‑2027 term, resulting from the Regional Musyawarah (Musywil) of Muhammadiyah at the 48th Congress in Tegal City, promoting a progressive Islamic dakwah that is rahmatan lil alamin for the people and the nation.
In carrying out its duties, PWM Central Java supervises various autonomous institutions such as Aisyiyah, Muhammadiyah Youth, Nasyiatul Aisyiyah, Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM), Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM), Hizbul Wathan, and Tapak Suci at the Central Java regional level, and oversees several strategic councils ranging from the Council of Sharia and Renewal, the Council of Primary and Secondary Education, the Council of Public Health Development, to the Council of Economy, Business, and Tourism. PWM Central Java actively conducts various dakwah, social, and educational activities in Central Java, including regional religious study programs, distribution of social assistance to pesantren and communities, and annual work program consolidation, while also managing official information channels such as muhammadiyahjateng.or.id to convey informative and progressive narratives to the public.
