Katekyo Hitman REBORN! anime has unveiled the creditless version of its fourth opening theme, highlighting the track “88” performed by LM.C. The song originally aired during Episodes 74‑101, and the new video was launched as part of the series’ 20th anniversary celebration.
The release follows yesterday’s debut of the special Episode 62 ending, which showcases “friend” sung by Kyoko’s and Haru’s voice actresses, Yuna Inamura and Hitomi Yoshida. These releases are part of “REBORN! MUSIC MONTH,” a month‑long September music initiative commemorating the anime’s 20th anniversary. As noted earlier, the effort will roll out creditless versions of past theme song sequences each day on the official YouTube channel.
These unlicensed cut sequences were previously bundled with physical editions of the series but were never officially posted on the web. You can view the newest addition below.
The project kicked off on September 1 with an official 25‑track playlist that includes opening themes, ending themes, and assorted music from the TV series.
Akira Amano’s manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from May 2004 through November 2012, concluding with 42 tankōbon volumes. An anime version was also produced, spanning 203 episodes that aired from October 7, 2006 to September 25, 2010, with Studio Artland as the animation studio.
