Synopsis of Agensi Rumah Tangga
The film Agensi Rumah Tangga follows the life of Katia, played by Enzy Storia. Her life changes after losing her job due to a layoff.
In that situation, Katia cannot just stop working. The mortgage payments still have to be made, so she needs to quickly find a new source of income.
Instead of looking for an office job again, Katia chooses to become a supplier of domestic workers. That decision leads her into a world of work she had never imagined before.
In running her agency, Katia meets several domestic workers with different characters, backgrounds, and life problems. Over time, their relationship becomes closer.
The domestic workers, who were initially seen only as employees supplied through the agency, gradually become an important part of Katia’s life. She begins to understand their struggles and see each of their life sides, considering them as her new family.
However, that closeness puts Katia in a dilemma.
Katia has to choose between keeping a job that has introduced her to people she now considers family or looking for another job that better matches her mother’s expectations.
That choice leads Katia into various situations filled with drama, comedy, and romance. The conflicts that arise are not only related to work but also touch on family issues and interpersonal relationships.
Behind its comedic elements, Agensi Rumah Tangga attempts to portray a reality of life close to everyday society. The film shows how work can bring together people from different backgrounds and form relationships that are not always limited to professional relationships.
