Prospective Chairman of KADIN Kota Tasikmalaya, H.M. Fauzan Wahyu Noor, has been declared unfit after verification. Yet, this ruling has introduced fresh uncertainties.
Fauzan’s camp contends that the verification procedure contains several anomalies. They even allege that there are efforts to obstruct him from proceeding with the contest.

It isn’t merely about passing or failing. The concerns revolve around the rationale for the decision, the transparency of verification, and the emergence of directives for Fauzan to resign.
“Essentially, there appears to be a directive from West Java stating that I am ineligible. To get my money back, is it possible to draft a resignation letter?” said Fauzan, Wednesday evening (9/9/2026) while speaking at a café on Jalan Mashudi.
Nevertheless, Fauzan refused to comply with that directive. He opted to await an official decision from the organization.
“I will adhere to the organization’s rules. If I don’t make it, that’s fine. What matters is clarity regarding the reason,” he emphasized.
Fauzan argued that if he were indeed deemed unqualified, the decision should have been officially communicated, accompanied by accountable administrative grounds.
Not through chain messages, informal directives, or pressure to resign. It is here that the controversy started to unfold.
Fauzan openly pointed to suspected obstruction.
He stated that the indication was the emergence of interventions urging him to resign prior to receiving an official decision.

He claimed that on Sunday evening, he was visited by individuals allegedly linked to the SC.
During the meeting, there were instructions for him to prepare a resignation letter on the grounds that the registration fee could be refunded.
For Fauzan, this was where the questions grew even more significant.
If he truly did not meet the requirements, why was he asked to resign?
Wouldn’t an official declaration of his ineligibility suffice?
“The essence is to direct the cancellation, but they refuse to provide a decision letter,” said Fauzan.
Consequently, he suspects that certain parties wish for him to withdraw before the contest commences.
However, such suspicions remain claims from Fauzan’s camp and have not yet been independently verified as facts.
