Thecuy.com – Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) adalah perguruan tinggi swasta tertua kedua di Indonesia yang didirikan pada tanggal 8 Juli 1945. Awalnya bernama Sekolah Tinggi Islam sebelum resmi berubah nama dan status menjadi Universitas Islam Indonesia pada akhir tahun 1947. Islamic University of Indonesia announces an opening for Regular Permanent Lecturer positions:

Required positions: Law Bachelor program (concentrations: Criminal Law, Tax/Financial Law, International Law, and Technology Law), Medicine Bachelor program, Doctor Profession, Clinical Pathology Specialist program, Pediatrician Specialty, Internal Medicine Specialty, Communication Sciences Bachelor program, Psychology Bachelor program, and Textile Engineering Bachelor program.

A. General Application Requirements

1. Indonesian citizenship;
2. Muslim faith;
3. Physically and mentally healthy and capable of performing duties as a lecturer;
4. Free from narcotics;
5. Has good conduct and has never been convicted of a criminal offense based on a final court ruling;
6. Has no family/kinship relationship (spouse, children/in‑law, siblings) with permanent employees (lecturers/education staff) at the faculty chosen/destined;
7. Possesses the necessary education, skills, and expertise;
8. Possesses academic qualifications in the field of science and technology that correspond to the assignment field;
9. Holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and/or Doctoral degree in a field of study aligned with or required by the target study program;
10. Meets educational qualifications and age limits as of 1 October 2026, as follows:
    a. Holds at minimum a Master’s degree with a maximum age of 35 years or holds a Doctoral degree with a maximum age of 50 years;
    b. Holds a Specialist‑1 degree and Doctor Profession with a maximum age of 50 years specifically for Regular Permanent Lecturer candidates of the Faculty of Medicine;
    c. Holds a Specialist‑2 degree in a field aligned with the Master’s program and holds a Doctor Profession degree with a maximum age of 55 years specifically for Regular Permanent Lecturer candidates of the Faculty of Medicine;
11. Applicants must attach proof of accreditation of the college or study program at the time of graduation for Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral levels, in accordance with the qualification of each Study Program;
12. Applicants who graduated from Master’s/Doktoral programs from overseas universities must attach an equivalency certificate of the diploma;
13. Holds a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent) for Master’s/Doktoral studies;
14. a. Possesses English language proficiency demonstrated by a certificate of English proficiency with a CEPT score of at least 500, still valid and issued by CILACS UII;
    b. Applicants who hold a Master’s/Doktoral degree from an English‑speaking country or from a program conducted in English both domestically and abroad are exempt from submitting an English proficiency certificate. Applicants must upload a statement letter (template provided);
    c. Applicants who do not yet have an English proficiency certificate may take the test at CILACS UII (https://cilacs.uii.ac.id).

Special Application Requirements and Needed Formations

Faculty of Law

• Criminal Law — 6 positions. Holds a Master’s or Doctoral degree in the field of Criminal Law, State Administrative Law (Tax Law/Financial Law) from a College or Study Program at the Bachelor’s level with Outstanding accreditation (for graduates of domestic colleges).
• Tax/Financial Law — 1 position. Holds a Master’s or Doctoral degree in the field of Criminal Law, State Administrative Law (Tax Law/Financial Law) from a College or Study Program at the Bachelor’s level with Outstanding accreditation (for graduates of domestic colleges).
• International Law — 3 positions. Holds a Master’s or Doctoral degree in the field of International Law from a College or Study Program at the Bachelor’s level with Outstanding accreditation (for graduates of domestic colleges).
• Technology Law — 1 position. Holds a Master’s or Doctoral degree in the field of Civil Law, specializing in Technology Law from a College or Study Program at the Bachelor’s level with Outstanding accreditation (for graduates of domestic colleges).

Faculty of Medicine

• Bachelor of Medicine — 10 positions. Holds a Doctor title and a Master’s degree in the field of Biomedical Sciences, or Specialist‑1, or Specialist‑2 (priority in Clinical Pathology, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine), or a Doctoral degree in a linear field, from a College or Study Program at the Bachelor’s and Profession levels with a minimum accreditation of B or Good (for graduates of domestic colleges).
• Doctor Profession — 3 positions. Holds a Doctor title and a Master’s degree in the field of Biomedical Sciences, or Specialist‑1, or Specialist‑2 (priority in Clinical Pathology, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine), or a Doctoral degree in a linear field, from a College or Study Program at the Bachelor’s and Profession levels with a minimum accreditation of B or Good (for graduates of domestic colleges).
• Clinical Pathology Specialist Program — 1 position. Holds a Doctor title and a Master’s degree in the field of Biomedical Sciences, or Specialist‑1, or Specialist‑2 (priority in Clinical Pathology, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine), or a Doctoral degree in a linear field, from a College or Study Program at the Bachelor’s and Profession levels with a minimum accreditation of B or Good (for graduates of domestic colleges).
• Paediatrics Specialist Program — 1 position. Holds a Doctor title and a Master’s degree in the field of Biomedical Sciences, or Specialist‑1, or Specialist‑2 (priority in Clinical Pathology, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine), or a Doctoral degree in a linear field, from a College or Study Program at the Bachelor’s and Profession levels with a minimum accreditation of B or Good (for graduates of domestic colleges).
• Internal Medicine Specialist Program — 1 position. Holds a Doctor title and a Master’s degree in the field of Biomedical Sciences, or Specialist‑1, or Specialist‑2 (priority in Clinical Pathology, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine), or a Doctoral degree in a linear field, from a College or Study Program at the Bachelor’s and Profession levels with a minimum accreditation of B or Good (for graduates of domestic colleges).

Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences

• Communication Studies — 5 positions. Holds a Master’s and/or Doctoral degree with a Bachelor’s/Master’s background in Communication Studies expertise, Journalism, Public Relations, Strategic Communication, Film and Television Studies, Media and Cultural Studies, Media and Communication, Communication and Media Management, Development Communication, Islamic Communication and Broadcasting, Digital Communication and Media, Media Production, Graphic Design and Visual Communication, or Advertising, from a College or Study Program with a minimum accreditation of B or Good (for graduates of domestic colleges).

Faculty of Psychology

• Psychology — 4 positions.
  1. Priority given to Doctoral degree holders or those currently pursuing a Doctoral program;
  2. Priority given to specializations in Social Psychology, Psychometrics, or Neuropsychology;
  3. Graduate from a College or Study Program with a minimum accreditation of B or Good (for graduates of domestic colleges).

Faculty of Industrial Technology

• Textile Engineering — 2 positions. Minimum Master’s degree (S2), with Doctoral (S3) graduates given priority. Applicants have an educational background and/or expertise relevant to Textile Engineering, including Textile Chemistry, Textile Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other fields relevant to textile product and process engineering. Graduate from a College or Study Program with a minimum accreditation of B or Good (for graduates of domestic colleges).

C. Registration Procedure

1. Access the UIIAdmisi system at https://admisi.uii.ac.id, select the Lecturer or Education Staff Recruitment menu;
2. Create a Primary Identification Number (NIU);
3. Log in to the system https://admisi.uii.ac.id using your username and password;
4. Complete your profile and proceed with registration;
5. Upload complete application files as per the following requirements:
   • a. Color scan of the sealed application letter (Rp10,000 stamp) addressed to: Rector of Islamic University of Indonesia, Gedung GBPH Prabuningrat (Rektorat), Integrated Campus of Islamic University of Indonesia, Jl. Kaliurang Km. 14,5, Yogyakarta 55584;
   • b. Color scan of original or legalized photocopy of diploma and transcript of records for Bachelor, Master, and/or Doctoral levels (for overseas graduates, must be accompanied by a color scan of the accreditation/equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Education, or a legalized photocopy). Applicants with overseas diplomas who cannot yet attach the accreditation/equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Education must submit it no later than 15 October 2026 and attach a statement letter of willingness to complete the files (template provided);
   • c. Color scan of a statement letter confirming no transcript of records for applicants whose education was conducted by research or if the original college does not issue a transcript of records (template provided);
   • d. Color scan of a legalized final graduation certificate and transcript of records for applicants whose diploma has not been issued, and must submit the diploma according to applicable regulations no later than 15 October 2026 and attach a statement letter of willingness to complete the files (template provided);
   • e. Color scan of proof of accreditation of the college or study program for Bachelor, Master, and/or Doctoral levels according to BAN-PT/LAM at the time of graduation (in the form of an accreditation certificate or screenshot of the accreditation certificate from the BAN-PT/LAM website);
   • f. Photo file meeting the following requirements: full face to shoulder, clear and not tilted, and not a selfie, in PNG, JPG or JPEG format with a maximum file size of 500KB;
   • g. Color scan of a valid Identity Card (KTP) in PNG, JPG or JPEG format with a maximum file size of 500KB;
   • h. Color scan of original or legalized photocopy of birth certificate;
   • i. Color scan of a valid family card;
   • j. Color scan of a health certificate (physical) from a doctor at a minimum type C/Rural General Hospital (examination results from 17 March to 17 September 2026);
   • k. Color scan of a mental health certificate from a psychiatrist at a minimum type C/Rural General Hospital (examination results from 17 March to 17 September 2026);
   • l. Color scan of a narcotics‑free certificate accompanied by laboratory examination results from a minimum type C/Rural General Hospital (examination results from 17 March to 17 September 2026);
   • m. Color scan of a valid Police Certificate (SKCK) issued by the Police (minimum Polres/Polresta). Can be completed no later than 22 September 2026 and attach a statement letter of willingness to complete the files (template provided);
   • n. Color scan of a certificate from the court stating that the applicant has never been sentenced to imprisonment/detention based on a court decision with permanent legal force. The certificate can be accessed via the link: https://erateran.badilum.mahkamahagung.go.id/masuk. Can be completed no later than 22 September 2026 and attach a statement letter of willingness to complete the files (template provided);
   • o. Color scan of a sealed statement letter (Rp10,000 stamp) (template provided), containing:
     1. Never dismissed honorably not at one’s own request or not honorably as a civil servant/military/police officer or private employee;
     2. Do not work full‑time or hold permanent employee status in a state/private agency or other college;
     3. Do not serve as a permanent lecturer or lecturer with a work agreement from another college;
     4. Physical evidence in the files/documents attached for the purpose of applying as a Permanent Lecturer Candidate for the Regular Permanent Lecturer Selection at Islamic University of Indonesia (UII) is true;
     5. Do not have family/kinship relationships (spouse, children/in‑law, siblings) with permanent employees (lecturers/education staff) at the faculty intended for application as a permanent lecturer candidate in the regular permanent lecturer selection;
     6. Do not hold permanent employee status in a certain agency and profession, including:
        • a) Civil Servant (PNS)/Civil Service Apparatus (ASN);
        • b) Educator at government and private agencies;
        • c) State‑owned enterprise employee;
        • d) Active member of a political party or legislature (MPR/DPR/DPRD/DPD);
        • e) Advocate;
        • f) Notary;
     7. Willingness to be appointed as a Regular Permanent Lecturer at Islamic University of Indonesia.
6. p. Color scan of a valid English proficiency certificate issued by CILACS UII, with a CEPT score of at least 500;
7. q. Motivation statement prepared by the Regular Permanent Lecturer recruitment committee.
8. Applicants who have not fulfilled the requirements under letters b), d), m), and/or n) must attach a sealed statement letter (Rp10,000 stamp) of willingness to complete the documents (template provided), with the following deadlines:
   a. Documents under letters b) and d) no later than 15 October 2026;
   b. Documents under letters m) and n) no later than 22 September 2026.

D. Other Provisions

1. Applicants may only register for one position;
2. Requirements that are incomplete up to the specified deadline will not be processed further, except for documents that can be submitted according to the provisions in this announcement;
3. Application period opens on 7 September 2026 and closes on 17 September 2026 at 21.00 WIB;
4. Selection stages are conducted using an淘汰 system; applicants who fail at one selection stage are not eligible to proceed to the next stage;
5. Selection Stages:
   • a. Stage I Selection: Results of Stage I selection that meet the requirements will be announced on Tuesday, 22 September 2026. Selected applicants must print their test card themselves through the UIIAdmisi system and bring it during the test;
   • b. Stage II Selection: Psychological assessment (written, interview, and focus group discussion) will be conducted on Friday–Saturday, 25–26 September 2026; General Knowledge and Islamic Studies Test (written) on Monday, 28 September 2026; Islamic Practice and Interview on Tuesday, 29 September 2026; Stage II selection results will be announced on Friday, 2 October 2026;
   • c. Stage III Selection: Conducted on Monday–Tuesday, 5–6 October 2026, with test material consisting of: 1) Interview; 2) Subject matter competence (practical and paper writing). Stage III selection results will be announced on Monday, 12 October 2026;
6. All selection result announcements will be communicated through the UIIAdmisi system (https://admisi.uii.ac.id) and the official UII website at https://uii.ac.id/rekrutmen;
7. Document verification for applicants who pass the final stage will be conducted on working days from Tuesday to Thursday, 13–15 October 2026;
8. Applicants with the highest educational level (Doctoral) or Specialist II (specifically for the Faculty of Medicine) who are accepted and appointed as permanent lecturers will be awarded a special incentive of Rp50,000,000 (fifty million rupiah);
9. Applicants who have previously participated in the permanent lecturer selection process are allowed to apply a maximum of up to 3 (three) recruitment periods. Any deviation from this rule will automatically be considered as not meeting administrative requirements or as disqualified from the UII permanent lecturer recruitment process;
10. The lecturer recruitment selection process is conducted objectively and free of charge;
11. The Selection Committee has the authority to determine applicant suitability based on requirements, qualifications, and results of each selection stage. The selection results decided by Islamic University of Indonesia are final and cannot be challenged;
12. If an applicant provides false information/data, Islamic University of Indonesia has the right to revoke the graduation and/or terminate the position as a Regular Permanent Lecturer;
