STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure 2ND STAGE unveiled fresh concept artwork before its Netflix launch on September 25. The series had earlier announced a total of 11 episodes covering stages 2 and 3, with a weekly streaming schedule.
The freshly disclosed visuals portray Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli traversing a desert segment spanning roughly 750 miles as part of the Steel Ball Run competition. The path includes a feared locale known as the “Devil’s Palm,” where strange events suggest the race hides deeper intrigue beyond a simple contest.
This announcement came during a special live broadcast revisiting the inaugural Stage.

Three additional characters, together with their voice actors, have been disclosed earlier and will appear in the upcoming episode of the series:
- Tomoaki Maeno as Mountain Tim
- Tomokazu Sugita as Funny Valentine
- Yoko Hikasa as Hot Pants
Araki’s series debuted in 1987, and the Steel Ball Run arc spanned the years 2004‑2011. The complete production team for the newest anime adaptation is as follows:
