Noragami creators Adachitoka will release a fresh series titled Yadoya no Oinu-sama in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine for the November 2026 issue. The release will appear in Japanese stores on October 6.
The blurb presents the tale of a girl who abruptly reenters a fantastical realm. Sumire Kurose, a middle‑schooler raised amid nature, tumbles down a mountainside after an unforeseen mishap on a school outing.
The promotional illustration also features several characters and settings, with text hinting at Sumire’s return to a non‑ordinary world and her meeting a mysterious girl.
Yadoya no Oinu-sama inaugurates Adachitoka’s next series after Noragami, which concluded its decade‑long run in Monthly Shonen Magazine in January 2024. In addition, three supplementary volumes titled Noragami: Stray Stories have been released, collecting brief side stories. The manga has been licensed for English publication by Kodansha USA.
The Noragami anime, produced by BONES, ran for 12 episodes from January to March 2014. A 13‑episode sequel titled Noragami Aragoto aired from October to December 2015. The series is available on Crunchyroll, which outlines the plot as follows:
Even though Yato is now a minor god, he’s determined to become famous and has a plan. Sadly, things keep going wrong for him. He lacks his own shrine, his assistant has quit, and he must find a new divine weapon. Just when everything looks bleak, he meets a girl named Hiyori and changes her life forever.
