A secret new venture has been unveiled with two preview clips, both hinting at a launch date of September 10, 2026.
The opening teaser features a cascade of screws across the display, culminating in the tagline, “That man is returning.”
A subsequent clip includes the date “2026.9.10,” while a figure is seen sketching in the backdrop.
As of now, no official information regarding the title, creator, franchise, or additional specifics has been disclosed; however, Oricon indicates the undertaking is an anime production.
A dedicated social media handle titled “Over Order” has been set up for the initiative across X/Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
Top Speculation from Available Details: A New EAT-MAN Anime
Current clues suggest EAT-MAN, a long‑missing title that matches all teaser elements. Please note this remains unverified speculation.
- The lead character, Bolt Crank, possesses a talent for consuming items such as screws and metal, later reassembling them into functional weapons.
- The rights held by Japanese publishers are ©AY／ETOOP, and the series was authored by Akihito Yoshitomi.
- The year 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of EAT-MAN, whose original science‑fiction manga debuted in 1996.
- Bolt has not appeared in a television anime for roughly thirty years; the inaugural EAT-MAN adaptation was produced by studio DEEN and aired in 1997‑1998.
Crunchyroll streams the original adaptation, describing the story:
Bolt Crank is an “explorer”–a mercenary who only takes assignments that match his personal ethics. Even so, such explorers are seldom trusted, making both securing work and executing it dangerous. Bolt claims this is the only line of work he’s truly skilled at, yet he remains the most capable explorer around. Additionally, he has a distinctive power: he can devour any object and later reproduce it fully intact and functional. As a reserved, enigmatic figure, his ability to perform such the extraordinary while simply wanting to be normal renders him a puzzling character.
Bear in mind that the preceding points constitute a prevailing hypothesis derived from the data currently at hand; the official unveiling is set for September 10.
