TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com–The DPRD Kota Tasikmalaya Commission III demands that the Dadaha arrangement be carried out firmly. In this case, traffic engineering and the area for street vendors must be designed clearly.
Currently, the Arrangement Team plans to relocate street vendors operating in Dadaha to the outskirts. Nevertheless, there is still no clarity as to which areas are allowed to be used as stalls for street vendors.
The Chairman of Commission III of the Tasikmalaya City DPRD, Anang Safaat, stated that the arrangement of street vendors is an important step to restore the function of the Dadaha area to be more orderly and comfortable. The arrangement team is asked to remain consistent with the initial plan and ensure that the presence of street vendors does not interfere with sports facilities used by the community.

“The arrangement must be carried out in accordance with the initial plan. Street vendors must not be located in sports facilities, such as jogging tracks,” said Anang.
He considered that the arrangement of the Dadaha Complex was not too difficult to implement. Because the government already has UPTD Dadaha, which is specifically tasked with managing and arranging the area.
“Especially since UPTD already has the authority to arrange the Dadaha area,” he said.
Clarity of the area for street vendors, according to him, is very important as the government’s support for citizens who earn a living in Dadaha. Thus, this arrangement can be assured not merely as the eviction of traders, but also to provide certainty to street vendors.
“The place for street vendors must also be regulated, which areas are allowed for selling and which are not,” he said.
With clarity of placement, the government only needs to be firm in maintaining the area to keep it organized.
“If, for example, selling is prohibited on the jogging track, it must be firm. But they can still sell in other locations that have been designated,” he said.

He also considered that the peripheral area for street vendors should also be arranged. So that their presence does not portray squalor.
“If, in the plan, street vendors are placed on the outskirts of Dadaha, that area must also be arranged so that it looks tidy and not chaotic,” he said.
