ARCANADEA anime unveiled its debut teaser clip and announced a January 2027 premiere. The series is adapted from Kotobukiya’s Arcanadea plastic model line, introduced in December 2021 under an “SF x Fantasy” theme and featuring character artwork by necömi. As of June 2026, the franchise has shipped over 700,000 units.
Set in a near‑future Earth reshaped by the breakthrough of a novel energy called Arcana Particles, the narrative follows Shogo Kuga, a disinterested college student whose routine is upended when a tiny girl named Lumitea unexpectedly drops from the heavens.
When the girl addresses him as “Master,” Shogo Kuga delves into the enigmas of Arcana Particles, the cataclysmic “Night of Destruction,” and the Arcana Stones that trigger bizarre occurrences globally. The series was first unveiled during the franchise’s third‑anniversary live talk gathering in December 2024.
Keiichiro Kawaguchi oversees the anime’s direction at Yokohama Animation Lab, with Atsuhiro Tomioka managing series composition. necömi provides the original lead character illustrations, and 新川雲羽 serves as the animation character designer. Yuki Hayashi and Yuki Furuhashi co‑compose the soundtrack.
The cast features:
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shogo Kuga
- Kaede Hondo as Lumitea
- Konomi Inagaki as Kaho Asagi
