Since I can manipulate reality with my mouse cursor, I’ll start clicking away at the girls! anime has been officially unveiled, showcasing its debut trailer, visuals, key staff, and a scheduled premiere on October 4, 2026. The series will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and BS11 in Japan.
The narrative centers on Takumi, an otaku who observes in class that his mouse cursor has inexplicably crossed from his computer screen into the real world. Realizing he can manipulate it, he starts testing the power, even applying it to his childhood friend Mone.
The series is helmed by director Makoto Sokuza, with Eeyo Kurosaki overseeing the composition. Animation production is handled by Studio HoKIBOSHI, and Suiseisha is producing the project.
An illustration marking the anime adaptation has also been released by the original creator, Okumaro, accompanied by a note for fans. In it, Okumaro shares that they were genuinely shocked when they first heard the series would be adapted and are thrilled to introduce the work to a wider audience in a fresh format.
Okumaro expressed gratitude to readers for their ongoing support and hopes that both manga fans and newcomers watching the anime will find enjoyment in whichever medium they choose. They also invite viewers to anticipate the fresh interpretation of Mouse Cursor crafted by the anime’s production team and cast.
