Thecuy.com – Harmonia Jakarta, an Indonesian-based orchestra community, has been entrusted with arranging the Premier League anthem with a distinctive Nusantara flair. This partnership forms part of the Premier League for Indonesia initiative to enliven the opening ceremony of the 2026‑2027 season.
A total of 25 musicians joined forces to deliver a grand orchestral rendition of the iconic anthem. Harmonia Jakarta expressed surprise mixed with excitement at being given the chance to explore and rearrange the anthem into a fresh and compelling orchestral piece.
Produksi dan Tantangan Waktu
Time emerged as the primary hurdle for this arrangement’s production. As a community whose members juggle separate jobs and daily duties, recording and filming sessions could only be scheduled on weekends. This circumstance required tight coordination to ensure all musicians performed at their best within the limited timeframe.
Sentuhan Budaya Nusantara dalam Penggarapan Aransemen
Arranger Chikita Amanda played a crucial role in integrating Nusantara musical elements into the Premier League anthem arrangement. One notable component employed was the gamelan sound, which imparts a strong Indonesian character distinct from the original version. Harmonia Jakarta’s distinctive harmony created an impressive atmosphere and added a fresh hue to the anthem.
This collaboration not only highlighted local identity but also demonstrated Harmonia Jakarta’s talent for merging traditional music with world‑class international works. The initiative is seen as a significant starting point before moving on to future collaborative projects.
Infused with orchestral and traditional musical touches, the Premier League anthem now boasts a unique and stirring rendition, serving as a tribute to Indonesia’s cultural wealth on the global sports stage.
