TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – Sellers at Cikurubuk Market were given the chance to check their health for free through the Bering Sehat event organized by BMT Beringharjo in collaboration with the Cihideung Health Center UPTD, held at the Cikurubuk Market Hippatas Secretariat on Monday (24/8/2026).

The Chairman of the Cikurubuk Market Hippatas, H Achmad Jahid, appreciated the event. In his view, free health checks are a crucial step for traders to detect bodily conditions early.

“As Chairman of Hippatas, I thank BMT Beringharjo for conducting free health checks at Cikurubuk Market,” Achmad Jahid told Radar.

He considered the event highly beneficial for traders who are busy with buying and selling activities every day.

Because, amidst the bustling market, traders’ health must not be ‘bargained’ and only taken care of when problems arise.

Through the free examination, traders can detect early any health condition that requires attention.

“Traders can check their health early. Health is ultimately the most important thing. We can engage in any activity, including trading, because we are healthy,” he said.

He added that early detection can help traders anticipate the possibility of more severe illnesses.

If an unfavorable health condition is found, treatment steps can be taken more quickly.

“If there is any health deficiency, it can be detected early, allowing traders to anticipate the possibility of more severe illnesses,” he added.

He hopes that the Bering Sehat event will not end as a temporary activity.

In his opinion, similar programs should continue to be implemented so that more traders at Cikurubuk Market can feel the benefits.

“Hopefully, this can continue in the future. I pray that BMT Beringharjo will become more advanced, more successful, and more blessed. May all traders be healthier,” he hoped.

Achmad said that the health examination in the event targeted around 100 participants.

Specifically, about 70 participants were traders and the remaining 30 were customers.

“The quota, if I’m not mistaken, was 70 traders, 30 customers, totaling 100,” he said.

According to Achmad, traders’ health is closely related to the sustainability of economic activities in the market.
