Thecuy.com – The Center for Biomedical and Genomic Health, also known as BB Binomika, is a Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Ministry of Health tasked with executing government programs and providing public health laboratory services. Although it is not a completely new institution, BB Binomika emerged from the transformation of the Jakarta Center for Health Laboratories (BBLK), initially governed by Minister of Health Regulation Number 52 of 2020, and later restructured under Minister of Health Regulation Number 19 of 2023 concerning the Organization and Work System of the Center for Biomedical and Genomic Health. This change was part of strengthening the transformation of referral and health technology services, aiming to advance precision medicine. Its office is located at the Eijkman Building, Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro No. 69, Central Jakarta.

As a national reference laboratory, BB Binomika provides services in biomedical and genomic health, along with other health laboratory services. Its service quality is supported by accreditation from the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) and the Health Laboratory Accreditation Committee (KALK). According to the logo on its official announcement, the center also holds ISO 35001:2019 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications from TÜV SÜD, has earned the Corruption‑Free Zone (WBK) award, and operates as a Public Service Agency (BLU), with financial management based on PNBP funds in addition to the state budget (APBN).

Special Requirements:

1. Sequencing Laboratory Technician

• Has at least 1–3 years of work experience in molecular and genomic fields;
• Possesses experience and skills in basic molecular biology techniques (aseptic technique, precise pipetting, etc.);
• Has a fundamental understanding of Next Generation Sequencing workflow;
• Familiar with QC tasks (operating Nanodrop, Qubit, or Bioanalyzer);
• Has academic and communicative English language proficiency;
• Familiar with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office;
• Is highly detail‑oriented and disciplined;
• Demonstrates good analytical and communication abilities;
• Can work independently and as part of a team;
• Can handle stressful situations and tight deadlines.

2. Project Staff

• Minimum education S-2 (S-3 is an advantage);
• Scientific publication experience is highly prioritized;
• Proficient in data analysis (R, Python, or equivalent), statistics, and interpretation; understands population genomics and nutrigenomics;
• Participation in Good Clinical Laboratory Practice training is an advantage;
• Has academic and communicative English language proficiency;
• Can work with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office;
• Strong critical thinking and scientific reasoning skills;
• Good problem‑solving and adaptive abilities;
• Can work in a dynamic environment;
• Demonstrates leadership and ability to work independently and in a team;
• Can handle stressful situations and tight deadlines.

3. Data Analyst

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in data analysis;
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction, validation, and analysis;
• Expert in data visualization and dashboard creation using BI tools such as Superset, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms;
• Understands basic statistics for data analysis, including hypothesis testing, regression, and classification;
• Able to define performance metrics and indicators and produce actionable insights to support monitoring, evaluation, and decision‑making;
• Capable of conducting analyses that demonstrate program value (proof of value) for the public and stakeholders;
• Has a solid understanding of data quality and validation;
• Strong communication skills, able to present analysis results to both technical and non‑technical audiences;
• Can collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams;
• Can communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

4. Product Manager (Data Platform)

• Minimum 4 years (S1) or 2 years (S2) of experience in Cloud/Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or System Administration;
• Experience managing hybrid architectures (on‑premise & cloud), HPC, virtualization, and large‑scale storage (ONTAP);
• Strong cross‑unit communication, project coordination, and vendor management abilities;
• Ability to work in a structured, proactive, and adaptive manner; excellent English communication skills.

• Cover letter signed by the applicant, stamped with a Rp. 10,000.- postage stamp, addressed to the Head of the Center for Biomedical and Genomic Health;
• Curriculum vitae;
• Legally certified diploma and academic transcript issued by an authorized official;
• Identification card (KTP);
• Recent passport‑size photograph (4×6 cm);
• Health certificate from the last month and MMPI test results from a government doctor from at least the last 6 months;
• Valid police record certificate (SKCK);
• Statement that the applicant has never been sentenced to imprisonment or detention by court order (attached);
