Official introduction:
Armageddon, the ultimate clash of good and evil at world’s end, was subverted. A desperate plea “I don’t want to die” ignited the Evil God’s power. Humanity’s eight billion were sacrificed, only a few survived to become the dark lord’s toys. The endless cosmic cycle of renewal has faltered for the first time.
The sun will never rise again. In a realm where nature’s rules have gone awry, the only prized commodity is human blood. Blood serves as money, fuel, and ultimately a weapon.
After endless offerings, the mages forged a singular rite—a forbidden magic that turns a girl’s blood into a blade capable of slaying demons. Blood becomes a weapon; life becomes a weapon; humanity becomes the final weapon against the demons. The select survivors, the most powerful and cursed, become blood warriors.
Younger sister Epica is the mightiest blood warrior, though her soul is stolen. Elder sister Eva, crippled since birth, holds the key to awakening Epica’s latent power through her own blood. These two sisters are fated together in the bleak end times.
To the demons that have corrupted this world—use that blood to utterly annihilate them all!
The principal voice actors are:
- Iori Saeki as Eva
- Yukari Anzai as Epica
The key visual featuring both characters can be viewed beneath.
Kishi’s past works include Assassination Classroom, Classroom of the Elite, and Blue Orchestra. Uezu’s resume features Yuki Yuna Is a Hero, KONOSUBA, and Kengan Ashura.
