BANJAR, Thecuy.com – The Deputy Mayor of Banjar urges the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi) of Banjar City to attract investors to the area.

This initiative aims to boost the local economy.

“Hipmi has a robust network, extending beyond the local to the national level. I am confident it can persuade investors to come to Banjar,” said Deputy Mayor of Banjar H Supriana on Friday, 21 August 2026.

The city hopes that Hipmi Banjar will devise strategies to strengthen and grow local businesses, thereby creating job opportunities for Banjar residents.

“We (Banjar City Government) are deeply grateful, as Hipmi’s role clearly contributes to advancing the community’s economy,” she explained.

She acknowledged that investors are already present in Banjar City, but they have not yet proceeded to launch businesses, which remains a challenge.

However, she noted, the licensing process is now straightforward, the environment is friendly, and the location complies with the RTRW or designated use.

“This is a task for Hipmi to revive the region’s potential for economic growth and ensure the well-being of its people,” she clarified.

Chairperson of Hipmi Banjar City, Desy Sahliana, stated that to achieve this goal, the organization will take small steps.

“This will not only benefit Hipmi members but also the broader community, with the hope of advancing the economy in the future,” she said.

Furthermore, they will create business opportunities linked to the global market, enabling local entrepreneurs’ products to reach higher standards. (Anto Sugiarto)
