Re:ZERO Season 4 director Masahiro Shinohara unveiled an unedited version of Episode 13’s scene, presenting a clear view of Rem that had been obscured. The segment aired on August 19 within the episode titled “Stand Up,” where Subaru’s tears originally caused the image to be blurred. Shinohara commented:
“I’d like you to see Rem, who was hidden from view in the broadcast episode because of Subaru’s tears. The entire crew put a lot of effort into this, so it felt wrong to keep her invisible.”
