Its roots lie in a temporary medical facility owned by the Dutch Army on Jalan Ciptadi No. 1, which was handed over to the Indonesian Navy on April 1, 1955. As the need for military health services grew, a hospital was constructed and inaugurated on January 15, 1975, under the name Naval Hospital Daeral 2. The name dr. Midiyato Suratani was added on June 28, 1982, coinciding with its designation as a Level III TNI hospital with a capacity of 100 beds and four core specialties: general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, and pediatrics. Two years later, the hospital became a marine-type facility after acquiring a High-Pressure Air Chamber (RUBT) to treat diving-related illnesses. Today, Rumkital dr. Midiyato Suratani holds the status of a Level II TNI Hospital classified as Type B, as per Naval Chief Decision No. Kep/2595/XII/2016, operating directly under the Naval Health Service (Diskesal) and serving as a TNI Operational Support Hospital.

4. Good moral character, certified by a police clearance (to be submitted when invited);
5. Possessing a lifelong STR for medical and health personnel candidates;
6. Ability to work and communicate within a team;
7. Accredited study program with a minimum rating of B;
8. Minimum GPA of 3.00 for the respective field of study;
9. Maximum age of 35 years;
10. Female applicants must agree not to be pregnant during the first year of the contract;
11. Willingness to participate in all testing stages conducted at Rumkital dr. Midiyato Suratani.
