TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – Digital transformation of local government transactions in Tasikmalaya is shifting from simply keeping pace with the times to serving as a lever for improving public services and maximizing the city’s indigenous revenue (PAD).

Key focus is on electronic transaction processing via the e-Retribusi Parkir (digital parking) system, which was introduced alongside other digital services during the 2026 National QRIS Week Festival Riung QRIS event held on Saturday (15/08/2026) at Plaza Asia.

Tasikmalaya Mayor, Viman Alfarizi Ramadhan emphasized that any digital service implemented by the government must deliver tangible changes that can be measured.

Police in Tasikmalaya ramp up patrols through early morning, focusing on motorcycle gangs; the Deputy Mayor participated in the Independence Day Fun Run in Mangkubumi, Tasikmalaya.

“Every digital service must produce changes that can be felt and measured. Service times get shorter, payment options become easier, transactions are recorded precisely, leakages can be reduced, and the potential for local revenue can be maximized,” Viman told Radar.

According to him, the digitalization of government transactions must not end with the launch ceremony.

The system that has been developed must be genuinely adopted by the public and capable of generating tidy transaction data.

In this way, the government gains a stronger footing for policy‑making, while the public enjoys easier and more transparent services.

In the context of parking, digitalization is crucial as the sector directly touches daily public activities.

Transactions previously prone to being missed from records are expected to enter the system in a more orderly manner.

In other words, parking is no longer just about vehicles stopping and leaving; there is rupiah moving along that must be tracked to see where it goes.

Thousands of residents crowded the GCC during the 81st Independence Day fun run, which served as a synergy event between the Tasikmalaya City Government and the private sector. Meanwhile, a motorcycle gang brandished weapons in Kawalu, Tasikmalaya! They were chased by locals, crashed into a wall, resulting in one death.

Viman asked the relevant regional agencies to ensure that all electronic transaction systems in the region operate stably, are user‑friendly, integrated, and have a responsive complaint channel.

“Socialization must reach both service officers and the public. We will regularly evaluate its usage based on the number of users, transactions, service time, revenue, and public satisfaction,” he explained.

In addition to e-Retribusi Parkir, the electronic services launched by the Tasikmalaya City Government also include Tasik Hub, IPBB Digital, SiMaret, and SiNatria.

Viman considers that digitalization is part of the Tasik Melayani spirit, which aims to provide public services that are close, easy, transparent, and in line with technological developments.
