Akiba Station will be back at this year’s Los Angeles Comic‑Con, featuring a bigger presence, more attractions, and extra anime shows, following its launch at the event in 2025.
In partnership with Otaku Collectives, the devoted anime and Japanese pop‑culture zone will once again appear at Comic‑Con, scheduled for October 30 to November 1 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The release states that this year’s Akiba Station will showcase bigger Japan‑inspired themed areas, hands‑on activities, limited‑edition items, and more involvement from partners returning from last year. Event planners also said they’ll reveal new anime brands, creators, voice performers, and guest stars over the next few weeks.
Chris DeMoulin, CEO/GM of Los Angeles Comic Con parent Comikaze Entertainment, Inc. commented:
Our goal from day one has been to build a spot that truly reflects the anime crowd and offers fans a special area to honor the hobby they enjoy. Partnering with Otaku Collectives, we aimed to craft an environment where attendees feel at home, immersed in the tales, universes, and talent that first drew them into anime.
The larger venue will add fresh Japan‑themed scenery such as cherry‑blossom setups, curated exhibits, and themed zones built for fan engagement and photo ops.
