A fresh multimedia venture named SYNXRO Project has debuted, featuring an innovative idea: crafting original “pretend anime intros” that may evolve into complete anime, manga, or novel series.
The inaugural work of the project, Ishoku Shokushokuju (Clothing, Food, and Shelter), launched on YouTube today as a full anime opening titled “Glass World’s End.” Rather than advertising an existing show, the clip presents a brand‑new tale created specifically as a prototype for a possible future intellectual property.
The storyline was penned by manga artist Ken Sogen; the theme music was composed by DÉ DÉ MOUSE and performed by Hitomitoi. Animation production was overseen by pre_sktch, with editing and compositing contributed by Wontama.
The narrative takes place in a planet bruised by climate change and conflicts over scarce resources. Ishoku Shokushokuju centers on Hotaru, a 13‑year‑old who has lost her past and roams with a portable food cart. In an era where fine dining is extinct, she aspires to revive ramen, while the opening hints at a deeper enigma that will unfold throughout her adventure.
The SYNXRO Project is run by the Japanese creative firm KUROGO, with backing from Kodansha Creators’ Lab for its storyline creation. This effort unites authors, composers, illustrators, animators, and video makers to jointly craft anime opening sequences for imagined series.
The organizers state that titles gaining significant viewer approval may be turned into complete anime, manga, novels, or additional media. Five new opening projects are slated for release across 2026, with each soundtrack also being distributed on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
Proceeds from successful projects will be shared among the creators involved, aiming to develop fresh intellectual properties via cooperative creation instead of the usual publishing methods.
