Direktur Utama Bank Aceh Raih Pemred Award 2026 atas Komitmen Keterbukaan Informasi

Yogyakarta – President Director of PT Bank Aceh Syariah, Fadhil Ilyas, received the Pemred Award 2026 in the Corporate Leadership – Best Communication category during the Indonesia Multimedia Editors’ Forum Festival awards night held at Hotel Alana Yogyakarta on Saturday (18/7/2026).

The award is presented as a token of appreciation to leaders recognized for their strong commitment to fostering open, transparent, and accountable public communication, and for building harmonious relationships with both the mass media and the community.

Based on the jury’s assessment, chaired by Yogi Hadi Ismanto, a member of the Indonesian Press Council, the President Director of Bank Aceh was judged to have demonstrated leadership that upholds public information openness through strong relations with the press, easy access to information, and a commitment to constructive and responsible communication. The evaluation also took into account consistent efforts to build healthy relationships among the institution, media, and society, as well as a commitment to disseminating accurate and balanced information.

On that occasion, Fadhil Ilyas expressed his gratitude for receiving the award and thanked all Bank Aceh employees for their dedicated efforts in maintaining the quality of the company’s communication.

“Alhamdulillah, we dedicate this award to the people of Aceh. As a regional development bank owned by the people of Aceh, this award is a trust for us to continue to maintain public confidence through open, transparent, and responsible communication,” said Fadhil.

According to him, the award is not an individual accomplishment but the collective result of all Bank Aceh employees who are committed to delivering fast, accurate, easily accessible, and accountable information to all stakeholders.

He stressed that in the increasingly competitive financial services sector, openness of information is an essential component of good corporate governance. Therefore, Bank Aceh continues to reinforce a culture of transparency, accountability, and effective communication as a foundation for building public trust.

This commitment is implemented through regular company information dissemination, strengthening the public relations function, optimizing digital communication channels, improving public information services, and building professional and sustainable relationships with the media, both at the regional and national levels.

The Pemred Award 2026 is part of the Indonesia Multimedia Editors’ Forum Festival, which took place from 17 to 19 July 2026 in Yogyakarta. Besides honoring regional heads, legislative members, institutional leaders, state‑owned enterprises, regional‑owned enterprises, and business actors, the event also featured the Golden Pen award for several national figures in recognition of their contributions to development and public communication.

The ceremony was also a moment of pride for Aceh. Alongside the President Director of Bank Aceh, Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf (Mualem) received the Golden Pen award, and Aceh Regional Secretary M. Nasir was also honoured for his leadership and contributions to governance and public communication.

The President Director of Bank Aceh expressed appreciation for these achievements and hoped that the awards garnered by various Acehnese figures would further strengthen collaboration among regional government, business, media, and all stakeholders to drive sustainable development in Aceh.
