Thecuy.com, Bandarlampung — The Bandarlampung municipal administration has laid out additional measures for pupils who did not make it into the 2026 New Student Admission Selection (SPMB). The aim is to guarantee that every child of school age can keep accessing education during the forthcoming academic year.
The Bandarlampung City Department of Education is currently collecting data on state schools that still have student quota places. This information will serve as the basis for placing prospective students who have not yet secured a school.
Prosedur Penempatan
Residents whose children have not been admitted to a state school are asked to report to the Bandarlampung City Education Office. The report will be verified before the placement process takes place.
The Acting Head of the Bandarlampung City Education Office, M. Nur Ramdhan, said that his office is ready to facilitate students who were not accommodated during the SPMB. This step is taken to ensure that all students can continue their education.
“We are ready to help students who were not placed so that they can still attend a state school,” said M. Nur Ramdhan on Monday, 13 July 2026.
Once the data‑collection process is completed, pupils will be assigned to schools that still have vacant seats. The placement is carried out according to the quota mapping that the Department of Education has prepared.
Kebijakan Penempatan Berdasarkan Kuota
M. Nur Ramdhan explained that pupils cannot choose a school outside the remaining quota. The policy is implemented to ensure that placement proceeds in accordance with each school’s capacity.
“Student placement will be carried out based on the remaining quota in each school,” he said.
The Bandarlampung City Government hopes that this policy will assist residents who are still looking for a school for their children. The measure also aims to ensure that no pupil loses the chance to receive educational services in the new academic year.
