Jakarta – Veteran lawyer Eggi Sudjana praised President Prabowo Subianto for his handling of three corruption cases against former Special Prosecutor Febrie Adriansyah, expressing pride in the President’s firm stance.

“We are very proud of President Prabowo’s resolve in enforcing the law against the special prosecutor, Febrie Adriansyah – it’s outstanding,” Eggi said in a video obtained on Sunday (12/7/2026).

He hopes President Prabowo and his administration can eradicate corruption at its roots.

Eggi pledged his full support for President Prabowo and urged that the corruption case involving Febrie Adriansyah be thoroughly probed.

He added that he hoped these law‑enforcement efforts would help make Indonesia a better and more pious country.

Earlier, Commission III DPR Chairman Habiburokhman shared President Prabowo Subianto’s message about the suspected corruption case of former Special Prosecutor for Criminal Matters, Febrie Adriansyah. Prabowo urged all law‑enforcement officers to stay united and give their best effort.

“Simply put, Mr. Prabowo definitely wants the law‑enforcement officials to be solid and give it their all. We have already pledged to be united. I have paired Kortas with the Special Prosecutor; insyaallah they are solid,” Habiburokhman said at the Senayan complex, Jakarta, on Saturday (11/7/2026).

Commission III of the Indonesian DPR also voted to set up a working committee (panja) to monitor the case against Febrie Adriansyah. Habiburokhman said the panja would call every party connected to the investigation.

“Everyone will be summoned,” he replied when asked which individuals the Panja of Commission III would call.

Commission III of the Indonesian DPR vowed to give full attention to the legal proceedings of the coal corruption scandal, ASABRI, and Krakatau Steel. Habiburokhman stressed that the case, often dragging law‑enforcement officials, involves individuals rather than the institution.

“There are several announcements. First, Commission III has taken the initiative to ensure that the previously reported cases proceed within the legal framework and are thoroughly investigated,” Habiburokhman said at a press conference held at the Prosecutor General’s Office complex, South Jakarta, on Saturday (11/7/2026).

Habiburokhman underlined that his team would oversee the investigation to prevent any overreach of legal authority among law‑enforcement agencies throughout the probe.

Second, we also aim to ensure no excesses, friction, or conflict arise between agencies over this case. This matter concerns specific individuals, not institutions,” he said.
