Yu Kamiya’s lightnovel series has unveiled a new trailer for Volume 13, which launched today in Japan. This marks the first installment after over three years, following Volume 12’s February 2023 release. The trailer features narration by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, who voices Sora in the anime adaptation.

The series initially debuted on April 25, 2012, and remains ongoing. A manga version started in 2013, with two volumes released by February 2018. Madhouse produced an anime adaptation consisting of 12 episodes aired between April and June 2014.

The narrative centers on Shiro and Sora, two exceptionally talented siblings. In a parallel world, their gaming prowess solves every challenge. Though their abilities seem limitless, the official synopsis from Crunchyroll highlights their real-life struggles as NEETs and Hikikomoris. Online, they are mythologized as the undefeated “___” (blank).

A young boy named Teto approaches them, claiming to be “One’s Lord.” The duo embraces challenges, whether restoring humanity’s reputation among other races or influencing the next ruler.

Yu Kamiya clarified Season 2 anime rumors last year after a leak suggested new production. The latest volume cover is available for viewing.
