Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 has unveiled its visuals and trailer, accompanied by new theme songs, set to debut on April 12, 2026. Crunchyroll will broadcast it globally, with studios Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures handling the animation. Tatsuya Yoshihara returns as chief director, while Hideaki Nakano takes on the director role for the sequel.

The main teaser includes the new theme tracks for Season 2: “BELIEVERS” by ASH DA HERO as the opening and “Reachlight” by Shiyui as the ending. “BELIEVERS” is available for pre-save on music platforms, with album art and fan comments from the band. ASH DA HERO shared their enthusiasm, emphasizing their deep connection to the original work and their aim to create a song that reflects their love for Wistoria and supports Will and his friends.

The ending artist, Shiyui, discussed her contribution to “Reachlight,” explaining it was inspired by the protagonist’s journey of discovering courage through determination. During recording, she focused on conveying the intensity of the character’s resolve, highlighting how words can act as a powerful force, much like a sword.

The voice cast also shared their excitement. Kohei Amasaki, voicing Will, expressed his eagerness for the new season, noting that he recorded with full effort and is thrilled fans can experience the action and animation, along with the story from the first season. Akira Sekine, as Elfaria, hopes to reunite with Will, while Satomi Amano, as Colette, anticipates showcasing her energetic battle scenes. Masaaki Mizunaka, Tetsuya Kakihara, and others echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing their commitment to delivering the characters’ growth and action-packed moments.

The series is based on a manga by Fujino Omori, illustrated by Toshi Aoi, and has been serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since 2020. It has sold over 3 million copies, leading to a full reprint. Kodansha USA has licensed the English version, and Crunchyroll is streaming the anime. The story follows Will Serfort, a mage without magic, striving to become a top mage to reunite with his friend Elfaria. Despite facing disrespect, his determination and hard work gradually earn him respect.

This season promises even more thrilling adventures, proving that perseverance and teamwork can overcome any challenge, much like Will’s journey in the series.
