Pangandaran Police deployed approximately 100 combined personnel for Operation Patuh Lodaya 2026, which will run for 14 days, from Monday, October 26, to Sunday, November 8, 2026.
The operation aims to boost public compliance with traffic rules while reducing the number of accidents in Pangandaran Regency. The personnel involved are drawn from the TNI, Polri, and relevant agencies.

Pangandaran Police Chief, AKBP Ikrar Potawari, stressed the significance of inter-agency collaboration to achieve safety, security, order, and smooth traffic flow.
This statement was made during the Operation Patuh Lodaya 2026 Force Launching Parade on Monday, October 26, 2026.
In his view, the operation’s success should be evaluated based on its ability to prevent accidents, reduce fatality rates, and enhance public awareness of traffic regulations.
“Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 mengutamakan upaya pencegahan dan pengamanan melalui edukasi, sosialisasi, dan pendekatan persuasif serta humanis. Upaya ini didukung oleh penegakan hukum lalu lintas secara elektronik dan pemberian teguran kepada pengguna jalan yang melanggar ketentuan,” ujarnya.
Ikrar also stressed that all personnel should perform their duties professionally. Officers were asked to be firm in enforcing regulations while remaining polite and humane in serving the public.

Such an appeal is crucial because road safety cannot rely solely on the presence of police. Rider compliance is the primary factor to prevent journeys from ending in accidents.
Through Operation Patuh Lodaya 2026, Pangandaran Police hope that public traffic awareness will continue to rise.
