Thecuy.com – The Golkar Party’s Regional Executive Board of Tangerang Regency hosted a charity gathering for 62 orphans as part of the party’s 62nd anniversary festivities. The event took place at the DPD Golkar office in Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency, on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
The Chairperson of the Golkar Party’s Regional Executive Board of Tangerang Regency, Intan Nurul Hikmah, said the assistance reflected the party’s gratitude and concern for the local community near the office. “The number of recipients matched the age of the Golkar Party, which is now 62 years old. Celebrating the party’s 62nd anniversary at this DPD office, we expressed our thankfulness by providing aid to a total of 62 orphans living around the office,” she told reporters.
Prior to handing out the aid, the Tangerang Regency Golkar Party’s Regional Executive Board members visited the Raden Aria Wangsakara Heroes’ Cemetery (TMP) that morning. The programme then progressed to the charity distribution and a thanksgiving ceremony.
Intan, who also serves as Deputy Regent of Tangerang, noted that the anniversary celebrations would continue with additional community initiatives such as blood donations and a discounted market, in line with instructions from the Golkar Party’s Central Executive Board (DPP). “We started this morning with a pilgrimage to the heroes’ graves, followed by the charity event, thanksgiving, and sharing. Later, there will be a blood donation drive and a cheap bazaar; we’ll await further guidance from the DPP,” she said.
Intan expressed hope that the party’s anniversary would bolster cadre unity and encourage their participation in community social activities. “I hope all Golkar Party cadres can remain active in society, understand, and assist the people of Tangerang Regency in particular,” she added.
