PANGANDARAN, Thecuy.com — The search for Dinda Aulia, a girl who was reported missing in Kalipucang District, Pangandaran Regency, has concluded. She returned home on Saturday (17/10/2026) evening around 21.30 WIB, safe and sound.
Her return brought relief to the family, who had been gripped by anxiety. Yet, despite the good news, the reason behind Dinda’s disappearance remains a mystery. As of Sunday (18/10/2026), there has been no official statement explaining what happened.
Kalipucang Police Chief IPTU Ridwan, representing Pangandaran Police Chief AKBP Ikrar Potawari, said that police officers immediately visited Dinda’s residence to confirm her return.

“Alhamdulillah, she has returned safely without any harm,” he said on Sunday (18/10/2026).
This confirmation ended the worries of family members and residents who had been following Dinda’s search. The girl is now back with her family.
Nevertheless, the conclusion of the search still does not fully address the public’s questions about why Dinda left home and went missing. The lack of an official explanation means that circulating information should be handled with caution.
The police reminded the public not to rush to spread unverified news, especially through social media.
“We remind citizens to remain wise and careful when sharing news on social media or public consumption, always verifying the truth of the information before sharing it,” explained Ridwan.
Dinda’s return is welcome news. However, amid the flood of information, unconfirmed reports should not prolong the family’s anxiety or fuel speculation among the public. (deni nurdiansah)
