Bandai Card Games revealed that NARUTO CARD GAME will hit stores globally in June 2027, after its first showing at Gen Con 2026. Details on the rollout were unveiled at New York Comic Con, where the inaugural Starter Decks, Booster Pack and demo initiative were also presented. Earlier, in July, the title disclosed its initial gameplay mechanics and card artwork.
At the debut, three Starter Decks will be offered, each centered on a leading character: Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Gaara. Every ready‑to‑play deck contains everything a player needs to start and features a distinct Leader, accompanied by a unique group of ninjas and strategic approach.
The inaugural Booster Pack, called Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!, is set to debut in June. It showcases figures from both NARUTO and NARUTO SHIPPUDEN, plus fresh ninja units, jutsu, and additional cards intended to augment the Starter Decks and facilitate personalized deck creation.
Fresh card art was unveiled as part of the NYCC showcase.
A brand‑new teaser, incorporating exclusive artwork from Studio Pierrot, premiered during the gathering. You can view it beneath.
In the lead‑up to the official release, Premier Demo Events will kick off at partner trading card retailers in February 2027. These sessions aim to teach newcomers the game’s mechanics and will first be hosted in major stores that join Bandai TCG+, with more venues slated for rollout later.
Two limited‑edition items were also introduced: an early‑available Official Playmat titled “NARUTO VS. SASUKE” and the Premium Card Collection Vol.00 – CHAKRA Set. These can be obtained via the Premier Demo Events and certain Bandai Card Games Fest 26‑27 gatherings, such as those held in Orlando and London.
Additionally, Bandai plans a global initiative in Spring 2027 to hand out one million Demo Decks, offering fans yet another chance to familiarize themselves with the game ahead of its official launch.
A major new announcement for the title is slated for Jump Festa 2027 this December.
