TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The outpouring of disappointment from Tasikmalaya Deputy Mayor Diky Candra regarding the bureaucratic communication pattern within the Tasikmalaya City Government drew a response from Mayor Viman Alfarizi Ramadhan.
Nevertheless, Viman’s answer did not specifically address Diky’s complaint that he was unaware of the Dadaha area development process from the start.
Viman denied the assumption that the deputy mayor was not involved in the development of the area.

According to him, the work of the regional government is the joint responsibility of all elements within the Tasikmalaya City Government.
“Whether you are involved or not, we are all together,” said Viman on Thursday (8/10/2026).
Nevertheless, when asked about the planning report and the development progress of Dadaha, which was said not to have reached Diky, Viman did not elaborate in detail on the communication mechanisms that were in place within his administration.
He only explained that each regional device organization (OPD) already has a technical procedure for carrying out work, including reporting on activity progress.
“When it comes to the technical reporting of every progress, it’s all already there,” he explained.
That answer did not directly address the problem presented by Diky.
Because the deputy mayor’s complaint was not merely about the existence or absence of reporting procedures, but about how communication and coordination truly operate before a policy is implemented.
The spotlight on bureaucratic communication emerged when Diky attended an invitation from the Small and Micro Traders Association (PPKM) at the Dadaha Shelter on Wednesday (8/10/2026).

On that occasion, Diky openly expressed his disappointment because he felt he had never been invited to communicate or receive reports since the beginning of the Dadaha development process.

“I don’t understand, every problem always comes up,” said Diky at the time.
According to Diky, governance issues should be discussed from the start. The OPD, he said, could convey the progress of work and ask for input before a policy is implemented.
“Talk honestly, until it’s resolved,” he added.
He admitted that he was not fully aware of the policy basis or the technical study of the Dadaha development.
