Thecuy.com – The Directorate General for the Conservation of Natural Resources and Ecosystems (KSDAE) serves as an Eselon I unit within the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, tasked with formulating and implementing policies related to the preservation of biological natural resources and their ecosystems. Its responsibilities include managing conservation areas such as national parks, nature reserves, wildlife sanctuaries, nature tourist parks, and hunting parks, as well as safeguarding plants and wildlife both inside and outside their native habitats.

In fulfilling its mandate, the Directorate General of KSDAE receives support from technical executing units deployed across Indonesia, specifically the Directorate of National Parks and the Directorate of Natural Resources Conservation (BKSDA). Through this network, the Directorate General oversees biodiversity preservation, ecosystem rehabilitation, control of flora and fauna trade, utilization of environmental services and nature tourism, and community empowerment in the vicinity of conservation areas.

REGARDING

Recruitment of Personnel for the Project Management Unit (PMU) and the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) under the Project “Enhancing Co-Benefits of Conservation Area Management through an Inclusive Wildlife‑Based Ecotourism Strategy” (Wildlife Ecotourism)

To implement the project “Enhancing Co-Benefits of Conservation Area Management through an Inclusive Wildlife‑Based Ecotourism Strategy” (Wildlife Ecotourism), financed by the Global Biodiversity Framework Fund (GBFF), the Ministry of Forestry, represented by the Directorate General of Natural Resources and Ecosystem Conservation (KSDAE), will conduct recruitment of staff for the Project Management Unit (PMU) and the Project Implementation Unit (PIU).

The primary objective of the Wildlife Ecotourism project is to strengthen biodiversity conservation and ecosystem resilience within Indonesia’s protected areas by developing and implementing wildlife‑based tourism initiatives, ensuring inclusive participation of local communities, and delivering sustainable economic benefits. The vacant roles include PMU staff to be assigned to the central office and PIU staff to be placed at five project sites: Tanjung Puting National Park, Way Kambas National Park, Baluran National Park, Alas Purwo National Park, and Wakatobi National Park, as detailed below:

1. Project Lead – National Level (Kode: NPM) – 1 opening – Bogor
2. Finance Officer (Kode: FA) – 1 opening – Bogor
3. Administrative Assistant (Kode: ADA) – 1 opening – Bogor
4. Communications and Knowledge Management Officer (Kode: CKM) – 1 opening – Bogor

A. General Requirements
