TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com –The controversy over the appointment of the Supervisory Board (Dewas) of dr. Soekardjo Regional Hospital has now become a serious concern for the Tasikmalaya City DPRD. Even though the process follows procedural steps, the civil servant status of Asep MP at the time of inauguration raises questions about appropriateness.
A meeting between the DPRD and relevant parties was scheduled for 09.00 WIB, but it had not yet begun by 10.00 WIB because not all officials were present. When the DPRD members and officials attempted to start the meeting, the doors to the plenary room were closed and guarded by security personnel.
The security guard prevented people outside the meeting from entering the room. It is said that this instruction came from his superior.

“You may not enter, it’s for internal use only,” said the security guard.
Based on information gathered by Radar, the DPRD members present at the meeting were from Commission 1 and 4, including H Dodo Rosada, Gilman Mawardi, Habib Qosim Nurwahab, H Undang Saripudin, H Yadi Mulyadi, Bagas Suryono, H Denny Romdony, and H Muslim Sumarna.
Meanwhile, the city government officials involved in the dewas selection include the Regional Secretary H Asep Goparullah, Asda 2 Hanafi, and other officials.
Regarding the closed meeting, the Chairman of Commission 1, H Dodo Rosada, said he was unaware of it. His side had no intention of making the meeting secret.
“I didn’t know anyone had given such an instruction,” he said.
As for the discussion at the meeting, H Dodo explained that his side focused on the explanation of the dewas recruitment process, from the regulatory basis, formation of the selection committee (pansel), recruitment announcement, submission to the assessment team, and other processes.
“We are monitoring whether the recruitment process follows the appropriate stages or not,” he said after the meeting.

According to H Dodo, based on the explanation from the selection committee, they assured that the process had been carried out in accordance with the rules, referencing Perwalkot Tasikmalaya Number 25 of 2021 concerning guidelines for the appointment of dewas.
“Based on his explanation, everything was indeed in accordance with the rules,” he said.
One issue that has sparked public controversy is the presence of civil servant and expert staff elements. In reality, all dewas appointed by the mayor were civil servants, despite Asep MP being on leave at the time.
