TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has revised the operational incentive scheme for the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG), also known as the free nutritious meal (MBG) kitchen. The incentive has been changed from Rp6 million per day to Rp2,000 per meal portion distributed to beneficiaries (KPM). The new scheme will take effect next Monday (5/10).

Sudaryono, Head of BGN, explained that the revision was made because the number of beneficiaries in each SPPG kitchen varies, whereas previously all kitchens received the same incentive of Rp6 million per day.

“Previously, each SPPG provided MBG services with varying numbers of beneficiaries but received the same incentive of Rp6 million per day. We have now adjusted this to be proportional, reverting to Rp2,000 per meal portion given to beneficiaries,” said Sudaryono in a statement on his official Instagram account @sudaru_sudaryono.

This has prompted a response from SPPG management partners in the Priangan Timur region, covering Banjar, Ciamis, Tasikmalaya, Garut, and Pangandaran. They have voiced objections to the planned incentive changes.

SPPG management representatives believe that the revised scheme could impose an additional burden on partners who initially built the kitchens using their own funds.

Ucu Supriatna, a Tasikmalaya SPPG manager, stated that his party does not intend to reject BGN’s policy in principle. However, partners hope that the incentive policy will be re-evaluated, taking into account each partner’s circumstances and investments.

“We are not actually rejecting it. We ask the BGN leadership, especially the Head of BGN, to re-examine what has been communicated regarding the incentive,” said Ucu on Thursday (01/10/2026).

According to information received by the partners, he continued, future incentives will be allocated based on the number of Beneficiary Groups (KPM) served by each kitchen. This scheme is considered different from the terms known to partners when they initially built and operated the SPPG kitchens.

Ucu explained that, at the time of the kitchen’s construction, there was a clause offering partners the opportunity to receive an incentive of Rp6 million for two years.
