Bank Mega Syariah again deepens its connection with the community in the everyday living sector by serving as the Official Bank Partner of METRO Modest Fashion Week (MMFW) 2026.
Solo launches this year’s MMFW series, which runs from September 25 through October 11, 2026, at Atrium The Park Solo. The primary highlight of MMFW Solo this year is a lineup of runway showcases and mini discussion sessions hosted by Bank Mega Syariah.
The runway event will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, featuring BIA by Zaskia Mecca, Vivi Zubedi, Hikmat, and Intresse.
Bank Mega Syariah’s involvement in MMFW 2026 coincides with positive growth in Syariah Card usage. From January to August 2026, the number of Syariah Cards rose by 95% compared to the same period the previous year. During the same timeframe, the sales volume of Syariah Cards also increased by 74% year‑on‑year (YoY).
Growth was also observed in Syariah Card transactions at METRO. The sales volume of transactions at METRO rose 25% YoY, while transaction frequency increased 10% YoY. This achievement indicates an expanding use of Syariah Cards to meet consumer transaction needs, including in the lifestyle category.
Bank Mega Syariah’s Business Director, Rasmoro Pramono Aji (Oney), stated that the collaboration with METRO is one of the bank’s efforts to bring Sharia‑compliant financial services closer to everyday life.
“The rise in Syariah Card usage reflects a growing demand for daily Sharia‑compliant financial products. Through our collaboration with METRO Modest Fashion Week, we aim to provide a seamless transaction experience while supporting the national creative industry via local brands and strengthening the Sharia‑finance ecosystem in the fashion sector,” said Oney.
METRO Modest Fashion Week Showcases the Theme “Bloom in Modesty”
This year, METRO Modest Fashion Week adopts the theme “Bloom in Modesty,” reflecting the growth of modest fashion as a platform for women to express an elegant, contemporary, and authentic style. As the opening city, Solo offers a selection of METRO’s modest fashion collections through runway shows, mini discussion sessions, and lifestyle exhibitions.
Bank Mega Syariah’s presence at MMFW 2026 also includes several benefits for attendees. During the event, visitors can enjoy discounts of up to 50%, with an extra 15% off for Syariah Card holders.
“This partnership not only provides benefits in transactions but also forms part of our effort to build stronger relationships with customers by addressing their various lifestyle needs and activities,” Oney added.
Besides enjoying the MMFW 2026 lineup, visitors can take part in other engaging activities such as mini talk shows. Attendees may also visit the Bank Mega Syariah booth to learn about the bank’s products and services and enjoy special promotions throughout the event.
Through the collaboration with METRO, Bank Mega Syariah aims to continue expanding public access to Sharia‑banking services while contributing positively to the development of the modest fashion ecosystem in Indonesia.
