TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – Residents’ access and basic amenities in Parungponteng Village, Parungponteng District, Tasikmalaya Regency, receive attention from Persaudaraan AKABRI 1992 (Persada ’92).
Persada ’92 inspected several locations earmarked for development and assistance, ranging from inter‑village connecting bridges, clean‑water facilities, educational facilities and uninhabitable homes, Wednesday (30/9/2026) afternoon.
The inspection was carried out by Brigjen TNI Dani Raksa, Pati Sahli Kasad TNI, representing Persada ’92. The activity was a follow‑up to the instructions of the Protector of Persada ’92 who also serves as the Chief of Staff of the Army (Kasad) Jenderal TNI Maruli Simanjuntak.

One of the primary concerns is the plan to construct a suspension bridge linking Parungponteng Village with Barumekar Village.
The bridge is projected to provide access for roughly 360 to 380 households (KK). This access also serves as a crucial element for children who attend school daily from kindergarten to vocational high school.
Until now, inter‑regional access has been an essential community need.
With the bridge in place, residents’ mobility is expected to become easier, including educational activities and community economic pursuits.
Persada ’92 also plans to construct a borehole to meet the clean‑water needs of residents in three RTs covering about 290 households.
The water from this facility will later be used not only by residents but also to support the needs of MTs Al‑Hidayah and the local mosque.
The issue of clean water, which has long been a basic community need, is also hoped to find a more permanent solution.
Not limiting itself to access and clean water, Persada ’92 also donated a land area of approximately 280 square metres for the development of educational facilities.

The land is planned to be used to expand the schoolyard, construct a sports field and provide a venue for ceremonies.
In this way, the school will not only have a classroom but also a more suitable space for student activities.
Assistance also targets housing needs. A total of three uninhabitable houses (RTLH) belonging to less affluent residents are slated for rehabilitation.
In the health sector, Persada ’92 has prepared several social activities, including cataract surgery, mass circumcision, cleft‑lip surgery and distribution of basic food packages.
