TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The plan to continue building the Mangunreja Sports Facility in Kampung Pasir Kaliki is now being discussed with the DPRD. Commission III invited the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing, Settlements and Environmental Department (DPU‑TRPP‑LH) to ask for details on the budget that the Tasikmalaya Regency Government will allocate for the project, Wednesday (23/9/2026).
During the working meeting, it was found that the estimated budget needed for the SOR construction is around Rp 72 billion. This includes the construction and budget for a 1.2‑kilometre fence leading to the SOR for area harmonisation worth Rp 3 billion.
Next, the construction of a surrounding fence for the Mangunreja SOR stadium is estimated at Rp 3–4.3 billion. The soccer field will cost Rp 1.79 billion. Field levelling is budgeted at Rp 544 million, the eastern grandstand at Rp 35.5 billion, and road and bridge construction at Rp 25.3–26.3 billion. The total budget is roughly Rp 72 billion.

The Chairman of Commission III of the Tasikmalaya Regency DPRD, Gumilar Akhmad Purbawisesa, explained the outcome of the working meeting with PUPR concerning the continuation of the SOR construction; the exact budget amount to be used is approximately Rp 72 billion.
Regarding the details, Gumilar clarified that, as presented by PUPR, the construction items comprise the building of a bridge and connecting road to the SOR, the eastern grandstand of the stadium, a 1.2‑kilometre fence, a surrounding stadium fence, land levelling, a football pitch and a jogging track.
The budget per construction item for a 1.2‑kilometre fence to harmonise the road leading to Mangunreja SOR amounts to Rp 3 billion. The surrounding fence of the Mangunreja SOR stadium is estimated at Rp 3–4.3 billion. The football field costs Rp 1.79 billion. Field preparation is budgeted at Rp 544 million, the eastern tribune at Rp 35.5 billion, and the road and bridge construction is estimated at Rp 25.3–26.3 billion.
Thus, the total budget to continue the SOR construction, which will be carried out under the 2026 revised budget from October to December, is approximately Rp 72 billion. As for the tender, it will be a mini‑competition held at the end of September. This was conveyed by the PUPR Department during yesterday’s working meeting with Commission III.
“Construction will commence on 1 October and must be completed by the end of December 2026,” Gumilar clarified.
