ASUS launches the ASUS Ascent QN10, a compact computer that leverages on-device AI capabilities powered by an NPU supporting up to 80 TOPS. It runs on the Snapdragon X2 Elite platform, featuring an 18‑core Qualcomm Oryon CPU, and is aimed at creators, developers and enterprise environments.
The ASUS Ascent QN10 occupies less than 0.7 liters of space, making it roughly 86 % smaller than a typical 5‑liter desktop system. Despite its compact size, the mini PC incorporates a Qualcomm Adreno X2‑90 GPU that supposedly delivers up to 2.3× the performance of the previous generation.
In terms of processing, the Snapdragon X2 Elite provides up to 18 cores of Qualcomm Oryon CPU. This combination is designed to handle multitasking, content creation and various AI‑driven workflows efficiently.
A key highlight of the Ascent QN10 is its Qualcomm Hexagon NPU capable of 80 TOPS. This enables a range of on‑device AI tasks such as real‑time language translation, AI‑based content generation, video enhancement, AI assistants and workflow automation.
Developers gain access to the Qualcomm AI Hub, which provides over 175 optimized AI models. The platform supports Bring‑Your‑Own‑Model (BYOM) and Bring‑Your‑Own‑Data (BYOD) scenarios, allowing local optimisation and execution of AI models.
The Ascent QN10 also backs a hybrid AI approach that merges local processing with cloud services. ASUS says this can help boost performance, responsiveness, power efficiency and operating costs in AI deployments.
Connectivity options include Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, 2.5 G LAN and a selection of USB 4 and USB 3.2 ports. The system is equipped with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and an NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage option of up to 1 TB.
The ASUS Ascent QN10 ships with either Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro Copilot+ PC. For pricing and availability in Indonesia, ASUS advises customers to contact a local ASUS representative.
