TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The Tasikmalaya City Prosecutor’s Office celebrated the 81st Anniversary of the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. The event was kept simple, focusing on enhancing public trust through integrity‑based and humane law enforcement.
Deputy Mayor of Tasikmalaya, Diky Candra, attending the event, praised the modest and low‑key celebration approach. He noted that the anniversary should serve as an opportunity for prayers and thankfulness for the prosecutor’s institutional progress.
“It’s not a commemoration, but a celebration. A celebration is more about prayer and gratitude for blessings. That’s the main thing,” said Diky.

He believes that the simple execution of the event actually creates a warmer atmosphere. Thus, the anniversary is not just a ceremonial agenda, but also strengthens bonds of friendship among the Prosecutor’s Office, local government, and the community.
“When we give thanks and keep things simple, hopefully it will succeed and result in warm connections. Much less ceremonial,” he said.
Diky also praised the Tasikmalaya City Prosecutor’s Office for providing students opportunities to engage in creative activities, such as making vlogs and scientific works. He mentioned that involving young people is essential for developing the city’s human resources for the future.
“Schoolchildren should create vlogs and scientific works. They are investments for both this world and the hereafter, for all our futures,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Tasikmalaya City Prosecutor’s Office, Erny Veronica Maramba, said that the 81st Anniversary of the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office is a moment to once again strengthen public trust.
The theme, she said, emphasizes enhancing public confidence through law enforcement that is integral, humane, just, and dignified.
“With this theme, we also aim to strengthen ourselves, the Adhyaksa personnel. Especially matters related to integrity‑based, just, dignified law enforcement that does not oppress, I assure that I must implement it in the work unit I lead,” said Erny.
