What are the stories from the Detective Conan comic that revolve around missing persons investigations? Here are 5 stories that the Thecuy.com team has compiled!

1. Volume 2 File 13: Berawal dari “Gokai Teio”

The story begins when Kogoro Detective Agency receives a request from a young girl to find her missing father. They began to receive clues from the names of the father’s cats, which turned out to be the names of racehorses named Gokai Teio. After realizing that the father was a horse racing enthusiast, Conan, Kogoro, and Ran immediately headed to the race track to search for and then find ‘the father’.

However, the story continues because this case also turned out to be related to a conflict involving a bank robbery gang and also involved another detective assigned by a gang member to find ‘the father’.

Shinichi’s mother received a request to investigate whether the applicant’s uncle, who returned from Brazil for the father’s inheritance distribution, was indeed that uncle or a fraudster who wanted to get a share of the inheritance. Using an old photo as a comparison, the investigation was carried out by checking for scars obtained before going to Brazil and the hand used for writing.

3. Volume 26 File 261: Rahasia Teman Pager

In this story, a female student sends a request to Kogoro’s detective office to look for a pager friend whom she had never met in person. When asked to meet at a certain time, the pager friend only left behind the pager and an organ with some missing notes. The address of the pager owner was found by using a connection with the police to ask the operator for the address of the owner of the pager number, and clues about the student’s pager friend began to emerge.

4. Volume 28 File 276: Mencari Teman di Klub Kendo

This time a middle-aged woman contacted Kogoro to find someone who had been a member of the school kendo club together, because she wanted to retrieve a photo tucked inside a novel that person had borrowed. Unlike other stories, the person being sought was still active as a kendoka and could be found after contacting several kendo tournament organizers. The applicant was finally known to be Heiji’s mother and she contacted Kogoro only to test Kogoro.

5. Volume 37 File 377 – Teka Teki Sang Programmer

Kogoro Detective Agency was contacted by representatives from three different game companies to find a freelance programmer who was working on game software for all three companies, while the programmer claimed to have no other contracts. The image message he sent showed that he was in seclusion at a hotel and borrowed a chess board, a shogi board, and an go board all at once for the games he was working on. Kogoro called hotels pretending to be a guest who borrowed the three boards to find his hotel (hotels will not give information about guests if asked directly).

This case also turned out to be related to a conspiracy by the Black Organization, which was also looking for the person to create a mysterious software.
