15 Anggota Bahana Cakra Ragawana Resmi Jadi Anggota Penuh Mapala Laksamana Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis

BENGKALIS — A total of 15 young members of the Laksamana Student Nature Lovers (Mapala) of Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis were officially inaugurated as full members during the inauguration ceremony held at Pantai Indah Selat Baru, Bengkalis Regency, on August 23, 2026.

The 15 members are part of Angkatan Bahana Cakra Ragawana. This inauguration marks the culmination of a series of educational and developmental processes they must undergo before attaining full membership status in the organization.

The education program began with classroom instruction, followed by field practice and basic nature appreciation training. After completing these stages, the young members participated in an expedition as part of a process to develop their abilities, mindset, character, and environmental concern.

The expedition comprised three main activities: community service, mangrove management, and mountain climbing. Through these activities, the members gained direct experience in applying their nature knowledge while fostering community concern and environmental sustainability.

The final stage before the inauguration was the sacred ceremony, which took place on August 22–23, 2026.

This activity served as a moment of strengthening and reflection for the young members after completing the entire series of education and mentoring.

After being declared to have completed all stages, the 15 young members were inaugurated as full members on August 23, 2026. The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of Mapala Laksamana, the board of directors, honorary members (AK), the honorary council (DK), and a number of invited guests.

The inauguration was also marked by the awarding of field names to each member. These names become part of their identity in carrying out activities and responsibilities as full members of Mapala Laksamana.

Full membership status is not merely an indicator that the educational process has been completed. Members now have a responsibility to maintain the good name of the organization, uphold the values of nature appreciation, and participate in social, conservation, and environmental activities.

The knowledge gained during the education is expected to serve as a foundation for the Bahana Cakra Ragawana Cohort in carrying out various activities of Mapala Laksamana, both in the fields of outdoor activities, environmental conservation, community service, and organizational development.

With the completion of the sacred ceremony and the inauguration at Pantai Indah Selat Baru, the 15 members officially entered a new phase as full members of Mapala Laksamana Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis.

This inauguration also serves as part of the organization’s regeneration to maintain the continuity of Mapala Laksamana and continue the spirit of nature appreciation, solidarity, environmental concern, and community service. (Rifky)
