The second worldwide fan poll for ONE PIECE disclosed the rankings of characters placed between 30 and 100 on the opening day of ONE PIECE DAY ’26. The remaining results will be posted tomorrow, alongside other franchise‑related announcements.
The popularity poll began on March 4 as the second international character ranking survey known as “WT100” (World Top 100). The inaugural poll took place in 2021 to commemorate the manga’s 1,000th chapter. This fresh edition marks the first global poll in roughly five years, launched to celebrate the series surpassing 600,000 million copies in circulation. Interim rankings were released in May, with Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji occupying the top three spots.
The updated ranking is available for viewing below.

A total of 1,567 characters worldwide could participate by voting via the official WT100 website, the ONE PIECE BASE app, and paper ballots found in certain issues of Weekly Shonen Jump and Saikyo Jump. Regional weekly top‑five lists have been issued each Monday since March 16.
The highest‑placed characters will be given fresh illustrations drawn by Oda and are likely to appear in anime episodes, video games, and product releases.
Eiichiro Oda’s ONE PIECE manga launched in July 1997. The franchise passed the 500‑million‑copy mark worldwide in August 2022. It also observed its 25th anniversary that year, and the anime adaptation, which premiered in October 1999, continues to air successfully.
