PANGANDARAN, Thecuy.com-At this time, husband and wife Kusmayadi (53) and Yuli Yulianti (38) in Kalipucang Village/Subdistrict are mourning the condition of their house’s rear wall, which has collapsed. The damage to the building is said to have started during the earthquake on August 5, 2026, which caused cracks.
The condition of the permanent building, home to six people, is quite alarming. The rear wall of the house has collapsed and its materials are scattered on the floor. Some of the fallen wall debris has been gathered by the homeowner.
The wall on both sides has also developed cracks measuring 2 cm wide. This forced Kusmayadi, his wife, and their four children to gather and stay in the front part of the house, which is considered still safe.
Not just based on blowing a whistle, Tasikmalaya City’s digital parking attendant differs significantly from illegal parking staff. The initial TPP deduction plan had scenarios of 50 percent and 10 percent!
Kusmayadi said that initially the house’s wall experienced cracks caused by the earthquake. “At the time of the incident, we and the children were not at home,” he said on Thursday (20/8/2026).
According to him, the damage started with cracks that appeared after the earthquake. Over time, the cracks widened until the rear wall eventually collapsed.
I didn’t notice at the moment, and before I knew it the house wall had collapsed. It started from the earthquake’s tremor, the crack grew larger and wider over time, and finally collapsed yesterday,” he said.
Kusmayadi said the damaged area was in the bedroom and behind the dining room. Meanwhile, the front part of the house remains relatively safe.
Kusmayadi, who works as an ambulance driver, earns only around Rp1.8 million per month. His wife is a housewife. “Temporary housing is in the front, everyone gathered there,” he said.
Camat Kalipucang Ruhendi said that based on reports received by the subdistrict government, only one resident’s house has been reported as affected by the earthquake. However, Ruhendi said, the damage to the house was not entirely caused by the earthquake. The rear part of the building was said to have been in a deteriorated condition beforehand. “The one is not entirely impacted by the earthquake because the house’s rear part was already deteriorated beforehand,” he said.
Behind the 20 percent TPP: deductions, loans, or budget maneuvers! Trial again, e-retribution for roadside parking in Tasikmalaya City not yet fully implemented.
