Konami, in collaboration with Screen Burn Interactive, has finally unveiled an extended gameplay segment for Silent Hill: Townfall. This is not just a short trailer; the latest clip runs for roughly 19 minutes and showcases various gameplay elements, including exploration, puzzle solving, and encounters with monsters.
The gameplay introduces St. Amelia, a town in Scotland that serves as the primary setting for the story. Players will control Simon, a character who suffers from amnesia after becoming stranded in the town.
From a first‑person perspective, players must navigate a bleak environment while unraveling mysteries and confronting various supernatural threats.
Silent Hill: Townfall’s Gameplay Showcases Exploration and Psychological Horror
One notable feature in Silent Hill Townfall is the CRTV device. This portable television can pick up mysterious signals that assist Simon in detecting creatures around him, including enemies hidden behind walls.
The latest footage also reveals how players will face off against monsters and explore an alternate, much darker version of St. Amelia. Upon entering the Otherworld, the game’s atmosphere becomes increasingly chilling, with an environment that feels implausible.
Silent Hill: Townfall Set to Launch in September 2026

Silent Hill Townfall is scheduled to release on 24 September 2026 for PC and PS5, available both digitally and physically. Players who pre‑order the Digital Deluxe Edition will gain early access, allowing them to play the game 48 hours earlier, starting from 22 September.
Combining exploration, puzzles, the CRTV mechanic, combat, and psychological horror, the game has become a notable title for fans of the Silent Hill series.
