PANGANDARAN, Thecuy.com – The woman who dropped off and abandoned her 8‑month‑old baby at Kalipucang Terminal Pangandaran was finally located at Goa Menir on Friday (7/8/2026). The evacuation involved several agencies, including the Police, TNI, Satpol PP, Tagana, Damkar and the local village government.
According to Kalipucang Police Chief Iptu Ridwan, the baby’s mother, suspected to be S (30), is known to be a resident of Banjar City. Her motive for leaving the baby at Kalipucang Terminal remains unknown.
“A local resident spotted the baby’s mother inside a cave near Lembah Putri at 09.30 WIB,” he said in a statement on Friday (7/8/2026).
Not yet ready for execution, despite the system and CCTV being prepared for digitalising parking management in Tasikmalaya City. If it exists, West Java Governor KDM asks BPN Pangandaran to cancel the certificate of Harim Laut Pantai Madasari.
Combined officers who received the information promptly went to the Goa Menir site. It took about an hour and a half to persuade S to come out of the cave.
“We successfully evacuated the suspect to Kalipucang Community Health Center for medical treatment at around 11.00 WIB,” he said.
Regarding the baby’s care, they still need to gather more information. Since S’s condition is not yet stable, it’s difficult to obtain her statement.
The baby girl who was originally discovered at Kalipucang Terminal on Thursday (6/8/2026) is now under the care of the Pangandaran Regency Social Service.
Pangandaran Police, together with the Social Service and related agencies, are still investigating the incident while prioritising a humane approach. (Deni Nurdiansah)
