TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com — The Tasikmalaya City Government is starting to lay out concrete steps to enhance governance, public services, and optimize regional revenue through collaboration with the West Java Provincial Government and the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN).

This became evident during the Coordination Meeting on Optimizing Cooperation with the West Java Regional Government, held at the West Java BPSDM Office in Bandung on Tuesday (4/8/2026).

Vice Mayor of Tasikmalaya, Diky Candra, attended in place of Mayor Viman Alfarizi Ramadhan, who simultaneously participated in the KUA-PPAS APBD discussion at the Tasikmalaya DPRD.

On that occasion, Diky was accompanied by the Inspector, Head of BPKAD, Head of Bapenda, Head of DPMPTSP, and Head of PUTR Office.

They directly listened to West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi’s presentation on strengthening regional government collaboration to build more effective and impactful governance.

Diky Candra stated that the forum was not merely a ceremonial event between institutions, but a synchronization space to ensure that regional governments share a common direction in improving public service quality and regional management.

“This is an opportunity for Tasikmalaya City to strengthen collaboration with the West Java Provincial Government and the Ministry of ATR/BPN. The discussion is not limited to administration, but how public services, governance, and regional revenue optimization can improve,” he said.

He said, even though the agenda experienced a delay of around an hour, causing participants to wait before the event started, the entire meeting ran smoothly until it concluded in the afternoon.

According to Diky, various programs offered by the Central Government and the Provincial Government must be maximally utilized.

Because, amid regional fiscal challenges, collaboration becomes one of the “fuel” to keep the wheels of development moving.

“In the current situation, regions cannot suffice by walking alone. Collaboration is the key to ensure that services to the public continue to improve and regional potential can be optimized,” he said.

Based on the meeting results, there were nine cooperation program packages offered by the Ministry of ATR/BPN to the regional government.

Among them are the integration of Business Identification Number (NIB) and Tax Object Number (NOP), acceleration of land registration, development of Land Value Zone (ZNT), Thematic Land KKN, integration of KP2B/RP2B into RTRW, acceleration of integrated RDTR preparation with OSS, integration of land services with Public Service Mall, land consolidation for regional development, and optimization of GTRA’s role in resolving land and spatial planning issues.
