TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the National Mandate Party (PAN) in Tasikmalaya Regency held a Regional Working Meeting (Rakerda), accompanied by a Volunteer Inauguration, as a step to consolidate the organization and prepare strategies for the upcoming elections.
The gathering at the MUI Building of Tasikmalaya Regency was attended by the DPD leadership, DPC officials across the regency, cadres, and the Chairman of the West Java PAN DPW, Ahmad Najib Qodratullah, along with his management team.
The Chairman of the Tasikmalaya Regency PAN Regional Leadership Council, Asep Dzulfikri, said that this Rakerda is an important moment to strengthen party unity down to the grassroots level.

He said that all officials from various regions, ranging from the northern to the southern areas of Tasikmalaya Regency, were present to unify efforts in carrying out the party’s struggle agenda.
“This Rakerda is not merely a ceremonial activity. The real fight begins after this event ends. All cadres must go down to the community, roam around, listen to citizens’ aspirations, and ensure that PAN gains a place in the hearts of the people of Tasikmalaya Regency,” he said.
He explained that the Tasikmalaya Regency PAN Regional Leadership Council has recruited around 1,500 volunteers and aims to increase that number to 5,000 volunteers, who will be placed as needed at each polling station (TPS).
Asep emphasized that the entire DPD leadership would consistently implement the directions and instructions of the Central Executive Board (DPP) of PAN. In addition to strengthening the organizational structure, they also plan to have a representative DPD office as a center for services and party activities.
He believes that PAN’s existence must be truly felt by the community through various concrete programs, especially in the fields of economy, health, and education.
“PAN’s presence is not only for political interests but must provide direct benefits to the community. Cadres must have integrity and demonstrate the party’s existence through real work,” he said.
He also highlighted various social problems still faced by Tasikmalaya Regency. Based on the data presented, there are still around 3,000 children who are not in school, around 4,000 citizens who are unemployed, and more than 185 thousand residents living in poverty.
