The inaugural exhibition focusedon the Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- anime has unveiled a fresh visual preview before its Tokyo debut later this year. Named the Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- TV Anime Exhibition -A Decade of Celebration-, the event honors ten years of the anime adaptation, which launched in 2016 and marks its 10th year this time. This follows the completion of Re:ZERO Season 4’s initial arc, with the next part, titled The Recapture Arc, set to stream from August 12.

The exhibition will feature production materials spanning the entire anime series, including original animation, storyboards, artistic concepts, and other behind-the-scenes elements. Some displayed items are rare and previously unseen. Interactive displays based on iconic anime moments will also be available, such as photo zones and video setups recreating key scenes. A complete view of the event’s design is shown below.

The original creator, Tappei Nagatsuki, shared his thoughts:
“This exhibition encapsulates the ten-year journey of Re:ZERO, from its first season to the fourth. I’m playfully saying ‘ten years of love,’ but the anime is packed with so many enjoyable moments that the phrase doesn’t feel burdensome at all. Anime and novels differ in expressing emotions, yet both aim to connect deeply. The anime’s meticulous details surprise even me as the author, making it impossible to grasp everything in a single or couple of viewings. Visit the exhibition to experience these strengths fully. Whether you’ve followed the series for ten years or are new now, join to enjoy the next hundred years ahead!”

The Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Exhibition -A Decade of Celebration- will be held from September 12 to October 4 at Shibuya BEAM Gallery in Tokyo. Some dates will use a reservation-based entry system.

Fans are already excited, with social media highlighting anticipation for exclusive behind-the-scenes content. This event offers a rare chance to explore the anime’s evolution, blending nostalgia with new insights into its storytelling. The exhibition’s interactive elements allow visitors to engage with scenes that defined the series, creating a memorable experience beyond passive viewing.

This gathering isn’t just a milestone—it’s a bridge between past and future, inviting fans to reflect on a decade of impact while looking forward to what’s next in the Re:ZERO universe.
