Samsung rumored to be preparing the Galaxy S27 Ultra with a custom Qualcomm chipset utilizing 2 nanometer (nm) technology, possibly produced at Samsung Foundry. This information surfaced from early reports by a trusted tech insider on Weibo. According to the details, the device might feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro variant—a customized processor developed jointly by Qualcomm and Samsung Foundry using advanced 2nm fabrication.

The 2nm process represents a significant leap in semiconductor technology, offering improved energy efficiency and performance compared to older nodes. Samsung Foundry has already implemented this 2nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) technology in products like the Exynos 2600, which is designed as the first chip globally to use this process. Samsung confirmed plans to integrate Exynos 2600 into upcoming Galaxy S26 models.
