Players will team up with the Archons, Neuvillette, and allies across Teyvat to face this unprecedented danger. Completing the Archon Quest within the set window rewards players with 560 Primogems and Character Ascension Materials for Mitya, while finishing the latest Secret Tsarist Assignments adds extra incentives, including a Snezhnaya‑themed Wind Glider.

Version 7.2 introduces a brand‑new area in the eastern portion of Snezhnaya for exploration. Adventurers can board the train to Novokitezhgrad, the region’s primary producer of Kresnik Kristall. This city lies wholly underground, encased within the crystal, creating a stark contrast to the snowy surface above. Bravely facing the icy gusts and snowfall, players may trek east to Wingspan Peak, whose silhouette resembles a giant wing. When he is part of a team, he transforms the group’s Superconduct reactions into Stellar‑Conduct reactions, increasing the whole squad’s Stellar‑Conduct damage and gathering special energy. Activating his Elemental Skill releases stored energy to inflict periodic Stellar‑Conduct damage on nearby foes, the amount depending on how much energy was gathered; holding the skill instead spends that energy to produce a quick series of powerful Charged Attacks, letting him move between off‑field and on‑field duties. His Elemental Burst fires area‑wide Electro damage and creates extra special energy, allowing him to keep his rotation going during extended fights. In specific spots of Snezhnaya, his detection tool assists players in finding secret routes and unlocking a costume that alters his look.

Valeriy, a 4‑star Electro Sword fighter and the methodical Major of the Armory Palace, also becomes available for recruitment. He grants protective shields and enhances Electro damage, especially for teams that specialize in Stellar‑Conduct reactions. During the first stage of the Event Wishes, Mitya and Valeriy are introduced, together with a repeat appearance of Furina. The second stage brings back Zibai and Linnea, along with a fresh Chronicled Wish that highlights several characters from Natlan.

Players can start a new limited‑time event either by advancing through the Version 7.2 Archon Quest or by using the Quick‑Start feature.
